PUBLICATION

The Book of Extended Abstracts will be available at the Symposium. After Symposium, it is intended to edit and publish selected papers (in English) in a bound volume. The papers presented at the Symposium will also be con-sidered for publication in Advances in Chemical Physics, The Journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The man-uscripts of the papers meeting the instructions for manu-script preparation should be available at on-site registra-tion. Provide two hard copies of the manuscript, a disc (floppy or compact) of the text and illustrations (one set of original illustrations and one set of copies of illustrations).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

The article should be no more than 6000 words in length, including figures, tables, and references.

The manuscript should include the title page with name(s) and organization(s) of author(s) and an abstract of 150 to 200 words, followed by sections containing an introduc-tion, the main body of text, concluding remarks, acknowl-edgments, and references. It should be prepared double-spaced on 8.5 x 11.0 inch paper (or A4 paper) using one side of the sheet only with 1-inch (or 25-millimeter) mar-gins. Use 12-point Times font for general manuscript preparation.

Figures and tables should be submitted separately from text. Indicate the approximate locations of illustrations in the mar-gin. A 2.5 x 2.5 inch standard diagram in the book is equiv-alent to 80 words, and a full width 2.5-inch figure counts as about 160 words. Please include one set of illustrations suit-able for reproduction. Original illustrations should not be larger than 6.5 x 8 inch and less than 1.5 x 1.5 inch. The quality of labeling, line thickness, and other details should be suitable for archival publication, and any photographs must be supplied as glossy prints (negatives and slides are not acceptable). Use a minimum amount of text within the illustrations; the figure captions can be extensive giving those details. Provide a separate list of figure captions, with figure numbers. The above apply for tables as well.
